CC

Competent Communicator. This is the first level of training that members achieve when pursuing the communication track within Toastmasters. To achieve this, a member needs to complete the 10 speeches within the Competent Communicator manual that is provided with their member kit. Each of these speeches needs to be evaluated within the club and signed off on by the Vice President of Education.

CL

Competent Leader. This is the first level of training that members achieve when pursuing the leadership track within Toastmasters. To achieve this, a member needs to complete the 10 projects that make up the Competent Leadership manual that is provided with their member kit. Each of these projects is made up of tasks which are evaluated by other club members. For example, chairing a meeting with a focus given to motivating members is one of the tasks within the manual.
